VILLA KALKAN CHARM – TURKEY
Nestled in the hills overlooking the beautiful Kalkan bay is Villa Kalkan Charm, our luxurious, private holiday villa on the outskirts of sophisticated Kalkan, South West Turkey.
You will find a sheltered parking area with steps rising up to the lower terrace and main entrance. The front door opens into a spacious, flowing living area to the left of which is Master Bedroom 1 containing a super king size bed and en suite shower room. Bedroom 3 is also located off the living area, comprising of 2 single beds and a jacuzzi bathroom. At the rear of the living space is the kitchen area with its own breakfast bar and stools, fully fitted and equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Dining table and chairs are situated undercover on the terrace.
From the living area a floating staircase leads to the second floor with Master Bedroom 2 to the left encompasses another super king size bed and en suite shower room, and the twin Bedroom 4 to the right, has two single beds with en suite shower room, both lead on to the upper terrace through sliding doors.
Villa Kalkan Charm comfortably sleeps 8 people and is ideal for families or friends.

Kalkan and its surrounding areas literally have something of interest for everybody, regardless of age, fitness or taste which is why it makes it an ideal holiday location for children, young adults and our slightly more mature clients with discerning preferences – all can enjoy a multitude of activities, tours and choices of relaxation.
For our sporty guests we recommend a visit to Kalamar beach (just 5 mins by car) from the villa. Here you can easily spend a day or so trying out all manner of aqua sporting activities from Scuba to kayaking or swim in the crystal clear waters of the bay where you can climb up onto the water trampoline (I haven’t yet found a way to elegantly disembark from that yet!) or simply relax,soaking up the sun on a bed with full bar service and free wi-fi.
Do you have a love of history? Villa Kalkan Charm is ideally situated to visit a plethora of ancient historical sites. This area known as Lycia has been beautifully preserved; many significant structures have been painstakingly pieced together by local and international archaeologists. Xanthos and Letoon are a mere 30 minute drive away and listed by UNESCO – I won’t spoil the legend of Xanthos but it’s pretty incredible!
The areas around Kalkan are blessed with beautiful beaches ideal for all from small quiet shingle bays to large expanses of golden sand such as Patara which boasts 18km of the yellow stuff and is protected home to egg laying loggerhead turtles, so after 7pm the beach belongs to them!
Again for the more active and perhaps slightly daring visitor there are a range of activities such as horse riding, jeep safari and tandem paragliding – yes if someone wants you to jump off a cliff you really can!
Kalkan is not difficult to get to by flying into either Dalaman or Antalya. Several airlines run flights throughout the year from all the London airports and major national airports.
