A Place Like Home, a talk with Eclectic Minds & Perfect Cuppa English

Home sweet home

Moved recently to the UK? Found it hard to get settled and feel at home quickly? Surprised & confused by how your experiences are different from what you expected?

Come to this talk to learn more about what some people experience in their 1st few months in the UK, plus our top ideas to get sorted & settled quickly. Drawing on an experience of moving here as an expat, as well as our joint insight from expat clients, this talk will cover British culture, language & ways of saying things, as well as etiquette.

Victoria from Perfect Cuppa English regularly gives talks about British life & culture, as well as leading orientation & discovery walks locally. Her business, Perfect Cuppa English, helps to settle expats into life in London through personalised English language coaching, British cultural understanding and local orientation.

Noemie from Eclectic Minds has taught languages for the last 15 years. After focusing on the younger ones, she now offers classes for adults in lovely cafes around Oxford circus which make for a cozy environment and ensures that learning is interesting and fun. Babies and Toddlers are welcome.
